Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of specialized wound nursing on wound healing time and scar healing quality in patients undergoing burn plastic surgery with skin grafting. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent burn plastic surgery with skin grafting and were treated in the Department of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Yancheng No.1 People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the reference group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The reference group received conventional nursing, and the observation group received specialized wound nursing. The wound healing time, scar healing quality, pain intensity, nursing satisfaction and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The wound healing time of the observation group was shorter than that of the reference group (P<0.05). The score of VSS in the observation group after nursing was lower than that in the reference group (P<0.05). The scores of VAS in the observation group at 6 and 24 hours after nursing were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group (98.00%) was higher than that of the reference group (86.00%) (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (4.00%) was lower than that in the reference group (10.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Specialized wound nursing is conducive to promoting the postoperative recovery of patients undergoing burn plastic surgery with skin grafting. It can not only accelerate wound healing and relieve pain, but also improve scar healing quality, reduce complications, and thus enhance the overall nursing satisfaction.
