Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of nursing based on health promotion concept on psychological status and aesthetic effect in patients with dental implant. Methods A total of 126 patients with dental implant admitted to Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of NMU/Jiangsu Provincial Stomatological Hospital from April 2024 to May 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the envelope method, with 63 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the study group received nursing based on health promotion concept. The psychological status, nursing satisfaction, aesthetic effect and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After 3 months of nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate of the study group (98.41%) was higher than that of the control group (87.30%) (P<0.05). After 3 months of nursing, the score of PES in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 3 months of nursing, the score of SF-36 in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Nursing based on health promotion concept not only effectively improves the negative psychological status of patients with dental implant, but also enhances their nursing satisfaction and the aesthetic effect of dental implant, ultimately promoting the improvement of patients' overall quality of life.
