Objective To analyze the effect of traditional Chinese medicine mask combined with facial thread lifting in facial rejuvenation treatment. Methods A total of 68 patients who received facial rejuvenation treatment in Rugao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2024 to June 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the reference group and the study group by the random number table method, with 34 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with facial thread lifting alone, and the study group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine mask combined with facial thread lifting. The facial rejuvenation effect, facial aesthetic evaluation scale (Face-Q) scores and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total improvement rate of facial rejuvenation in the study group (88.24%) was higher than that in the reference group (67.65%) (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of zygomatic satisfaction, buccal satisfaction, overall satisfaction, overall wrinkles and nasolabial folds in the study group were better than those in the reference group (P <0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion The application of traditional Chinese medicine mask combined with facial thread lifting in facial rejuvenation has a definite effect. It can improve the total improvement rate of facial rejuvenation, promote the improvement of facial aesthetic satisfaction, and does not increase adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical application.
