Objective: To explore the clinical effect of early intervention nursing for scar after burn in children on the aesthetic development of children"s face. Methods: From October 2023 to October 2024, 60 children with burns were divided into control group and observation group. The control group treated with routine nursing, and the observation group was treated with early intervention nursing on the basis of the control group. The scar scores, facial aesthetic indicators and the satisfaction of patients families in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The scar scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 3 months, 6 months and12 months after the intervention (P < 0.05); the facial symmetry, the ratio of interocular distance to facial width and nasolabial angle of the group were superior to those of the control group at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after the intervention (P < 0.05); the satisfaction the children"s families in the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Early intervention nursing applied to the of children with burns can effectively reduce the scar degree of children, and also improve the proportion and symmetry of the children"s facial features. It has a good effect on the protection children"s facial aesthetics, and in addition, the satisfaction of the children"s families with this nursing model is high. For this, this nursing model has a good clinical application and is worth promoting and applying.
