Abstract:Objective: To explore the effect of wet healing combined with pressure dressing nursing on linear scar hyperplasia after thyroid surgery. Method: Eighty patients with linear scar hyperplasia after thyroid surgery admitted to our hospital from January to December 2024 were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group using a random number grouping method. The control group received routine care, while the experimental group received wet healing combined with pressure dressing care. Compare the degree of scar hyperplasia, quality of life, and wound healing between two groups of patients. Result: The VSS scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group at 1, 3, and 6 months after surgery (P<0.05). The experimental group outperformed the control group in terms of daily activities, social interaction, psychological status, sleep, and other quality of life scores (P<0.05). The wound healing rate of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the wound healing time was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Wet healing combined with pressure dressing nursing can effectively reduce the VSS score of patients with linear scar hyperplasia after thyroid surgery, shorten wound healing time, improve healing rate, and significantly improve patients" quality of life. It is worth promoting.
