Objective To explore and analyze the effect of fractional CO2 laser combined with intense pulsed light on the treatment of acne scars and its cosmetic effect. Methods: A total of 62 patients with post-acne scars in the hospital from June 2024 to October 2025 were selected as the research subjects of this study. By the random number table method, 62 patients were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The control group was treated with fractional CO2 laser, while the observation group was treated with fractional CO2 laser combined with intense pulsed light. The scar area, skin lesion status and cosmetic effects of the two groups were compared. The results showed that the observation group was superior to the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion: Fractional CO2 laser combined with intense pulsed light therapy can significantly improve the scar area, lesion status and cosmetic effect of patients, and is worthy of promotion and application.
