Abstract:Oral problems such as irregular tooth alignment and residual roots of anterior teeth not only affect the occlusal function of patients but also seriously damage their facial aesthetics, bringing negative impacts on patients' psychology and social interactions. Orthodontics combined with porcelain aesthetic dentistry for assisting dental correction, as an innovative treatment method, combines the precise adjustment of orthodontic treatment with the high aesthetics of porcelain aesthetic dentistry restoration, providing a new treatment option for such patients. This method adjusts the position of teeth through orthodontic means to improve the occlusal relationship, and at the same time uses porcelain materials to restore the shape and color of teeth, achieving a dual improvement in function and aesthetics. Its advantage lies in that it can not only effectively solve the problem of tooth alignment but also meet the high aesthetic requirements of patients, reducing psychological barriers and social troubles caused by tooth problems. This paper reviews the principle, advantages of orthodontics combined with porcelain aesthetic dentistry in assisting dental correction, and its impact on patients' aesthetics and occlusal function, aiming to provide a scientific basis for its clinical application.
