Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of perioperative intervention under AIDET communication model in patients undergoing elective outpatient plastic surgery. Methods From January 2023 to August 2024, 70 patients who underwent elective outpatient plastic surgery in our hospital were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group received conventional perioperative intervention, and the observation group received conventional perioperative intervention and the perioperative intervention under AIDET communication model. The psychological states, uncertainty in illness, compliance, nursing satisfaction and pain levels were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale (MUIS) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the total compliance and total nursing satisfaction were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of perioperative intervention under AIDET communication model in patients undergoing elective outpatient plastic surgery can improve their psychological states, reduce the uncertainty about the illness, enhance compliance and satisfaction, and also reduce the level of pain.
