Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of light-cured composite resin in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth and its influence on dental aesthetics. Methods A total of 70 patients who underwent aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in the Department of Stomatology, Yishui County Cuijiayu Town Central Health Center from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated with metal-ceramic crown restoration, and the observation group was treated with light-cured composite resin restoration. The restoration effect, oral health levels, dental aesthetics and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good restoration rate of the observation group was 94.29%, which was higher than 77.14% of the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the plaque index, gingival index and periodontal attachment level of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of tooth morphology, fixation, surface smoothness and color matching in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.71%, which was lower than 22.86% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of light-cured composite resin aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth has a better restoration effect, which can improve the oral health level, enhance the dental aesthetics, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
