【】 Objective: Exploring the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with facial three yang meridian self blood therapy in the treatment of melasma.Methods: A study was conducted on 100 patients with melasma admitted to Gangdong Health Center in Jianhu County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province from January 2023 to January 2025. The patients were divided into odd even groups and the control group (50 cases) was treated with acupuncture; The observation group (50 cases) was treated with acupuncture combined with facial San Yang meridian self blood therapy; Compare the treatment effects.Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (p<0.05). After evaluation, the symptom scores of melasma in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment (p<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients after treatment (p>0.05), and the recurrence rate within 3 months in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (p<0.05).Conclusion: The clinical treatment of melasma can be achieved by acupuncture combined with facial three yang meridian self blood therapy, which has a definite effect, effectively improves symptoms, and has a low recurrence rate.
