Abstract:Objective: To compare and analyze the therapeutic effects of moist burn ointment and sulfamethoxazole silver cream in wound repair of burn patients. Method: 52 burn patients admitted to our hospital from May 2023 to February 2025 were randomly divided into two groups, with 26 patients in each group. The control group was treated with sulfamethoxazole silver cream, while the experimental group was treated with moist burn ointment. Compare the efficacy, wound healing time, pigmentation regression time, wound healing rate, VSS score before and after treatment, VAS score, serum inflammatory factor levels, and adverse reactions between two groups. Result: The experimental group had a higher therapeutic effect (P<0.05); The experimental group had shorter wound healing time and pigment deposition disappearance time, and a higher wound healing rate (P<0.05); The experimental group had lower VSS and VAS scores after treatment (P<0.05); The levels of serum IL-8, CRP, and TNF - α were lower in the experimental group after treatment (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in the overall incidence of adverse reactions between the experimental group and the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion: The efficacy of moist burn ointment in wound repair of burn patients is superior to that of sulfamethoxazole silver cream. It can shorten the wound healing time and pigment deposition disappearance time, improve the wound healing rate, alleviate scar hyperplasia and pain in patients, and reduce the level of inflammatory factors.
