Abstract:【:】Objective: To investigate the effects of digital guide plate guidance and traditional immediate weight-bearing implant surgery on the accuracy and complications of implant placement in patients undergoing edentulous jaw restoration. Method: 64 patients with edentulous jaw restoration admitted to Xiangtan Stomatological Hospital (January 2023 to January 2025) were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a simple randomization method. The control group received traditional edentulous implant surgery, while the observation group received immediate weight-bearing implant surgery guided by digital guides for edentulous implant surgery. The efficacy, implant accuracy, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Result: The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P>0.05); The differences in neck and root position, depth, and angle before and after surgery in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with traditional edentulous implant surgery, the digital guide guided immediate weight-bearing implant surgery for edentulous implant restoration has higher accuracy and lower complications, and is worthy of clinical reference and application.
