Objective To observe the application effect of high-quality nursing intervention on infantile eczema. Methods A total of 52 children with eczema who were treated in the Department of Pediatrics of Daye People's Hospital of Hubei Province from April 2020 to October 2021 were selected as the observation objects. According to different nursing modes, they were divided into routine group and study group, with 26 cases in each group. The routine group adopted routine nursing mode, and the study group adopted high quality nursing mode. The total effective rate of nursing, eczema area and severity index (EASI score) and quality of life score were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of nursing in the study group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in EASI score between the two groups before nursing (P>0.05); after nursing, the EASI scores of the two groups decreased, and the study group was lower than the conventional group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference in quality of life score between the two groups (P>0.05). After nursing, the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before nursing, and the study group was higher than the routine group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of high-quality nursing intervention mode in children with eczema can accelerate the disappearance of symptoms, reduce the severity of eczema, and improve the quality of life of children, which is worthy of clinical application.
